Filters that never get in the way.
Eight filters, one by one.
What each filter reads, and how to use it well. The same filters exist for missions on the freelancer side.
Role and skills
Start with a role from one of the 14 trade families, then add the skills that matter. A profile matches when its title and skills cover what you selected.
Seniority and availability
Seniority runs from junior to expert, as each freelancer states it on the profile. Availability reads the state the freelancer keeps on the profile: available now, from a date, or not available, with the hours a week.
Location and time zone
Choose remote, hybrid or on site. For remote work, set the time zones you can work with; for hybrid or on-site work, the city is part of the profile or the mission.
Rate or budget
Set an hourly rate or a fixed budget. Rates on profiles are indicative: the amount is agreed in each contract, and FreelanX adds its fee of 5% on each side of a payment.
Languages, badge and track record
Filter by the languages a freelancer speaks, by FreelanX Badge level (identity verified, portfolio reviewed, client-verified) and by missions finished on FreelanX. Missions are counted from paid milestones and cannot be edited by the freelancer.
Filters and a sentence, together
Write a sentence and FreelanX AI turns it into criteria shown as filters. Change one, remove one or add another: the results follow. Clear the sentence and the filters keep working on their own.
