Create a profile that gets found
Four fields are enough to start: a title, three skills, your country and your availability. Add experience, an indicative rate, languages and a portfolio when you want, and ask for the FreelanX Badge: free, reviewed within 48 hours.
Find the right missions
Describe the mission you want in a sentence or use the filters: role, rate, location, dates. Each mission says where the client is and where the work can be done, and comes with the reason it fits you. Save a search to get alerts; FreelanX Prime members are alerted first.
Apply and agree
Applying is free. Your application moves through clear statuses: sent, viewed, shortlisted, accepted or declined. Once accepted, the contract sets the scope, the milestones and their amounts, and both sides sign it online.
Deliver by milestone
Submit the deliverable of each milestone in the workspace. The company approves it or raises a problem.
Get paid
For a fixed-price mission, the company pays the whole contract when it is signed, or funds each milestone before work on it starts. Either way, FreelanX holds the money and releases each milestone to the freelancer when it is approved. For an hourly mission, the company pays a block of hours upfront and can top it up at any time.
Stay independent
You choose your clients, your rates and your hours, and you declare your income under your own country’s rules. If a client wants to employ you, FreelanX EOR can be your employer in your country, in 50+ countries.
