Who is responsible
In plain words. FreelanX, London, decides how your personal data is used on FreelanX.
1.1FreelanX, with its office in London, United Kingdom, is the controller of the personal data described in this policy.
1.2For FreelanX EOR, the local employing entity may also act as controller for employment data. The employment documents say which entity.

What we collect
In plain words. What you give us, what we see when you use FreelanX, and what others tell us.
2.1Account data: name, email, password, country, language, role.
2.2Profile data: title, skills, portfolio, rate, availability, verification documents.
2.3Mission data: briefs, proposals, contracts, messages, files, milestones, reviews.
2.4Payment data: invoices, amounts, payout details. Card details are handled by our payment processor and not stored by FreelanX.
2.5Usage data: pages viewed, device, approximate location, cookies (see the Cookie policy).

Why we use it
In plain words. To run the platform, keep it safe, meet the law and, with your consent, improve it.

FreelanX AI
In plain words. The assistant uses your request and FreelanX data to suggest matches. It does not decide for you.
4.1Requests to FreelanX AI are processed to return profiles or missions that exist on FreelanX.
4.2Nothing is sent, signed or paid without your approval.

How long we keep it
In plain words. While your account is open, then for the periods below.
6.1Account and profile data: while your account is open and for 3 years after it closes, then deleted or anonymised.
6.2Invoices and accounting records: 6 years, or longer where local tax law requires.
6.3Employment records (FreelanX EOR): as long as local employment law requires.
