The contract

The contract sets the scope, the milestones with their deliverable and amount, the terms and how payment works. Both sides sign it online and it stays in the mission’s workspace.

Fixed priceFor a fixed-price mission, the company pays the whole contract when it is signed, or funds each milestone before work on it starts. Either way, FreelanX holds the money and releases each milestone to the freelancer when it is approved.
HourlyFor an hourly mission, the company pays a block of hours upfront and can top it up at any time.

When the scope or the milestones change, the change is agreed by both sides and signed as a new version. The earlier version stays visible.

Deliverables and versions

A freelancer submits the files of a milestone when it is done. If changes are asked and the files are submitted again, the new version is added and the earlier ones stay in the milestone’s history.

The company approves, or raises a problem
Without an answer, a milestone is approved automatically after 5 business days
A problem raised on a milestone starts a mediation within 5 business days

Invoices

An invoice is issued automatically for each payment and shows the FreelanX fee. Companies find them in billing, freelancers in their payments, where a withdrawal arrives in 1 to 3 business days, with no minimum.

FreelanX EOR documents

For people employed through FreelanX EOR, the employment contract is issued by FreelanX EOR, the legal employer in the country. The monthly invoice lists the salary and employer contributions at cost and the FreelanX EOR fee, and the request’s documents stay with the request.

Keep and export

You can export your data from your settings at any time. How long records are kept, such as invoices and accounting records, is set out in the Privacy policy.
