It searches the profiles and missions published on FreelanX, and nothing else. It cannot create a person, a review or a mission to make a list look full.
Each result says what matches and what is missing. When nothing fits, it says so and suggests one change.

A place counts only when the mission needs it, such as on-site work or a time zone. Under the AI Act as amended in 2026, special categories of personal data may be processed only when strictly necessary to detect and correct bias, with safeguards.
The AI Act lists AI used to recruit or select people (to place targeted job ads, to analyse and filter applications, to evaluate candidates) as high-risk, under “employment, workers’ management and access to self-employment”. The Commission’s draft guidelines of May 2026 read this broadly: they cover freelancers and give a platform that ranks self-employed providers for customers as an example, even when a person makes the final decision.
- 1 Aug 2024In force
The EU AI Act enters into force.
- 2 Feb 2025Bans apply
Prohibited practices, such as emotion recognition at work, are banned.
- 2 Aug 2026Transparency
People must be told when they interact with an AI system.
- 2 Dec 2027High-risk rules
Rules for AI used to recruit or select people apply, after the 2026 Digital Omnibus.
People have the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing that significantly affects them. FreelanX AI suggests; people decide.
Since 5 July 2023, employers using automated tools to screen candidates for jobs in New York City need a yearly bias audit and must tell candidates.
Up to €35 million or 7% of worldwide turnover for prohibited practices, and up to €15 million or 3% for other obligations.
